Taking new patients
New patients are welcome
Yes, we’re accepting new patients, adults and children. Here’s what to expect, what to bring and what it costs.
Your first visit, step by step
You’ll know what’s coming before each step.
- 1
Ask for a time
Call (585) 555-0142 or send a request on our Contact page. We’ll find a time that fits, including Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.
- 2
Forms at home
Jamal sends a link to our patient forms from our practice software, so you can fill them out at home. They go straight to us and not through this website.
- 3
Meet us
Arrive 10 minutes early. Hannah or Marcus takes X-rays and cleans your teeth if your gums are healthy. Dr. Marquez or Dr. Hendricks then does your exam.
- 4
Your plan, in writing
You leave with a plan and prices, and with your insurance estimate if you have a plan. Nothing is done that day that you haven’t agreed to.

Before you come
What to bring
Not much. The rest we’ll sort out together at the desk.
- Your photo ID
- Your insurance card, if you have one
- A list of your medicines, to hand to us in person
- The name and phone number of your last dentist, so we can ask for your X-rays
- Questions, big or small
What a new-patient visit costs
With insurance, we bill your plan and tell you your share before the visit. Without it, these are our prices.
Without insurance
Paid at the visit. A good-faith estimate is available on request.
- Adult new-patient visitPopular$149
75 min · Exam, full set of X-rays and a cleaning if your gums are healthy
- Child new-patient visit, ages 1 to 13$99
45 min · Exam, X-rays if needed, cleaning and fluoride
- Emergency visit for a new patient$75
30 min · Exam and one X-ray, so we can see what’s wrong. Any treatment is quoted in writing first.

Questions new patients ask
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, adults and children. Most new patients are seen within about two weeks, and sooner if you call and ask about a cancellation. We see whole families, and children from their first birthday on. Call (585) 555-0142 or send a request on our Contact page.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Your photo ID, your insurance card if you have one, and a list of your medicines to hand to us in person. If you can, ask your old dentist to send your X-rays to us, or give us the office’s name and phone number and we’ll ask. Please don’t email or send health details through this website.
Can I fill out my forms before my visit?
Yes. Jamal sends a link to our patient forms from our practice software, which is built to protect health information, so you can fill them out at home. Your answers go straight to us, never through this website’s contact form. If you’d rather do it on paper, come 15 minutes early and we’ll give you a clipboard.
Ready to pick a time?
Send a request and Jamal will call you back with a few times to choose from.
